I'm so busy. I feel like I'm always running. Homework, papers to write, presentations to do.. I have so little time. I procrastinated, now I have the weekend to get two papers done and finish 3 presentations! And study for finals! And work like crazy setting up the Christmas party at the W Hotel. And hafta be at work at 7am tomorrow to set up the four (REAL) christmas trees we had to get. Insane. Plus do my daily routine and get my daily responsibilities done. My first evaluation is tomorrow. I am so nervous.
I'm glad I have Jon, who hears me vent, calms me down, takes me out to the movies when I really need attention and buys me dinner when I'm hongry. He holds me until I fall asleep and he thinks of me, even when he's sick and should technically be selfish. I love him, so, so much. He is beyond amazing.
I am so happy. And everything is so quick and everything is so hard, but I'm just glad I have what I have, and I'm thankful for what I get. I don't know if I'm ready for more, but I'll take it.

This weekend was just a catch up with Jon. Friday we went to Fresh Wasabi in Glendale.. and it's one of the most amazing sushi I've ever had!! Everything was so fresh. We definitely gushed about it for hours to each other. Tour de fat was fun. Even though beer tokens were more expensive and bikes were not allowed inside, we had a good time. I got sun burned.. and my face feels extra sensitive today.
Laundry, study, relax.

I have a new baby ferret: Monkey. Though I went through a list of sophisticated, funny names.. Monkey suites her best.. because.. she acts like one. I'm getting her through the biting phrase, but she is just a kit. 2 months old is such a babying phase. I love it. She's a handful. She's hyper all the time, seems like she can play for hours and hours and not lay down to rest. I love her.

Boris is getting used to her, too. With them together, I notice a sharp contrast in their personalities. Boris is so laid back. He's the best ferret, really. He hasn't snapped at her once! And they shared a cage from the get-go. Including food and water and litter box! He is such a great baby. I can't even begin to explain how much easier he's made this transition than other ferrets I've read about. He seems to sleep alot.. I think because Monkey keeps him up when I'm gone.

Life's good. School's good. Jon and I are swell. Board meetings are over. Whew. I've started to eat really healthy again. I feel like I want to see results NOW. I'm impatient. Oh, and I can't wait to wear sweaters and scarves. So ready.

Life has been so fast-paced lately. With work and school, I find my mind and body running off course by Friday. I can barely estimate how much food I'll need for a whole day. This is more difficult than I imagined.
This 3 day weekend was like a slice of fatty, indulgent cake. Staying in bed with him for days and watching Dexter and bbq'ing was great. I got high. I got really, really high. My brother turned 11. He opened a bank account. Things are good. So good!

Today I was starving on my way to class from work. I don't have any time to stop anywhere and grab anything. A dinky lean cuisine didn't hold me over for more than 3 hours. Jon went to gcc main (on his bike) to buy my book for my class so I could have it today.. and when he came to gcc north to drop it off for me, he brought me cheetos and a naked juice. He saved me from starvation, he also saved me from stressing about my mythology class... today she gave us a take home test. Saying 'you're the best' just isn't good enough. :)

I'm so grateful.

Jon and I discovered Dexter and have finished the first season. LOVE!!!! We act like little kids when it's time for it. We get our drinks, our snacks, position our pillows. He makes me really happy. I've been ecstatic the past few weeks. Everything is so simple now, it's just so good.
I love my job!!! I'm so lucky to work for such a great company. I was told they want to promote me soon. I've been so busy lately.
Started school. Full time. Sharing classes with 18 year olds makes me so grateful to be my age. I would never want to be 17,18,19 again. Introducing yourself to your cultural psychology class as a pothead is dumb. Haw haw.
I feel like I've lost a friend. But that's life. People drift away. I just can't seem to grasp the fact that some people change so drastically.. not exactly bettering themselves, but turning into other people. Maybe I'm missing something.

Life is pretty darn good.

This weekend was great. Jon and I celebrated two years of being together. Friday we went out for dinner and drinks and watched Happenstance.
Saturday we went to Chino Valley to visit his parents, then Jerome and Prescott. It was nice to have two days all to ourselves.
Now I need to clean and relax, because tomorrow is Monday!

Today I got to the point in I Served The King of England during lunch that I just want to stay home all day tomorrow and read the rest of it.
Today I missed happy hour with coworkers because I'm afraid to drink with them.
Today I got a haircut. It is so different from the past 6 years of hair.. I'm nervous about it.. but I like it.
Today I missed ALL of my VERY IMPORTANT ebay bids for something disappointing. I am monumentally upset. capslocks.
Today I am going to bed a little later than I should but am getting up earlier than I did today.

Today I spent money on clothes for work. I haven't done that in a REALLY long time, and I don't feel guilty. I have such a hard time parting with money I've saved, but sometimes it's a good thing.
Today I spent more on sushi than I have in my life. And it's okay.
I don't want to resize pictures. And that's okay.

Jon's passed out. I'm getting tired, too. This is my Saturday. ahahaha.

Life is treating me so well. I am happy and adventures are flinging themselves at me at every corner. Being called a 'Baberham Lincoln' is too priceless. You design underwear for Nike? Zing.

Class starts in less than a month! I got a scholarship for this semester and half of next! :)

Last night was an amazing night. I made an amazing connection with a wonderful girl that I can't get enough of. We're on the same page with a lot of things and have so much in common. We went out to a few bars and just had a great time. Dancing, laughing, stealing the beer on tap, meeting interesting people and just loving life in general.

Last night made me realize how young I am, and how lucky I am to have such good people around me. Drinks, swimming, laughing, attempting to smoke a wet joint (yes, I caved.. but it didn't count.. because it wouldn't stay lit long enough for extensive impairment). I'm glad I take chances and just go for things. Occupying a luxury home for the night was definitely not a bad end to a great night. Oh,, the joy of 3 hours of sleep. Good night! err.

Today I got up really early and went to Sun City with my mama. She's the best. Had a bad night.. woke up still tasting wine this morning.. she came home from work in the morning and instead of sleeping, went with me to Sun City. I love her so much.
Here is what I picked up:

a set of two :)
book worm for my book shelf.
two goblets, candy dish.. and 4 delicate shot glasses. also, two green candle holders. :)
not the jewelry.. the holder.. I know it's a nut dish, but I break the rules.
so excited! these three were less than $10

needlepoint frame and the cutest apron. I am so excited. :)
set of 6.
In all, I spent less than 40. I know, amazing.

Begemot.. he opens doors.. and recently learned how to turn the light in the kitchen on and off. Crazy.

Our cats only drink out of cups and glasses.. how ridiculous.

Oh, my smart man.. my Begemot. Cheddar and Blueberry are growing up so fast.. she won't let us holder, while Cheddar is desperate for attention. Insane how different they are.

Today my little brother and I played wii ski and snowboard.. I also got him a 'weird facts' encyclopedia from 1976.. Apparently the average American eats two donuts a day. Jeesh.

The past few days have been amazing. Jon's home! He brought me a gift from North Carolina.. the most adorable hat made by their recorder's girlfriend. We've spent every night together and there's no other word to describe the way I feel, except blissful. I made dinner last night: shepherd's pie and stuffed mushrooms (with cream cheese, sausage, spinach and parmisan cheese). So good. (But I ended up burning my hand, I have a little bubble.) We celebrated Jon's birthday that's tomorrow.. and stayed in to watch the Twilight Zone, The Sure Thing and Yes Man. I got somewhat drunk.. when you mix amber cider with 1554 ale, you get something that is too delicious! Today we went to Border's (I really want the astrology Book of Birthdays) and Pita Pit. I have probably gained 5 lbs from the past few days, but I don't care! I'm too happy to worry.

I just made sausage and cream cheese stuffed mushrooms and tomatillo verdes enchiladas! Everything turned out sooo good. Next time I might add some parmisan cheese and spinach to the mushrooms. I might use one or two less chilies for the enchiladas. I love making yummy things!

Just ordered NetFlix! My first movie will be Closer! AHHHHHH I am so excited!!

I only rode my bike for 25 minutes.. but I just got home and felt like I was going to throw up.. or pass out.. or tear something.. or die.. like MJ. I'm out of shape and this episode scared me. I've never felt this sick. These up and down hills don't help, either.

Today was my first board meeting at work. It was crazy. So many important people.. so much coffee.. so many Irish representatives. And let me tell you, Irish accents paired with suits is just adorable. :)
